Dana Point, California
It's our last day in beautiful California! Thinking of going back home to a blizzard in Colorado makes me want to cry π
This was a short trip - my boyfriend and I went for only two nights (he was dj'ing a friend's wedding). But! We still tried to fit in as many fun things as we could.
Day 1: We landed at the Orange County airport, rented a car and got to our hotel in Dana Point. We were both pretty hungry so we drove down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway for short) to get dinner at a restaurant called Javier's near Newport Beach. We got shrimp and crab enchiladas, a lobster enchilada, a chile relleno, a shrimp taco, and a couple of delicious margaritas! It was a beautiful restaurant with a fun atmosphere and great food π I would definitely recommend trying it if you are in that area.
Day 2: Our friends' wedding! On the way to set up, we stopped and grabbed some lunch at the Beach Hut Deli. We got two sandwiches and a couple of cookies for dessert (try the s'mores cookie, it was amazing π) Then we went to set up for the wedding! It was at Salt Creek Beach, in front of the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. Although it was a little windy, the beach was absolutely beautiful!
Day 3: We woke up and were craving In-N-Out, so we packed our things and made our way to one near the airport. π Now I am on the plane home and already missing the sunshine!

California Traveling Tips:
- Drive along the PCH as much as you can! Most of it runs right along the ocean and gives you the most beautiful views while you're driving π΄βοΈ
