Hi.

I'm Paige! Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, along with simple tips to make the most of your own travels. Enjoy!

NYC, New York

NYC, New York

Back from one of my favorite cities! I’m already missing all of the beautiful NY Christmas decorations, good restaurants and sightseeing! This was my second time visiting New York during the holiday season, and it was just as amazing as I had remembered it.

Here are some the things we did during our stay!

Food/Drink:

- John’s of Bleecker St: On one of the days we were there, we tried THREE different pizza places all back to back. 🙈 This was our favorite one out of all of them and one of the best pizzas we’d ever had.

- Bleecker Street Pizza:  This pizza shop is just right around the corner from John’s of Bleecker! It wasn’t quite as good as John’s in our opinion, but still very good pizza in general.

- Dominique Ansel Bakery: How can you go all the way to NYC and not get a cronut?? This month’s flavor was Gingersnap Dulcey Chocolate and it was absolutely delicious!

Things to do/see:

- Rockefeller Christmas Tree: The tree is a must see if you’re visiting NY during the holidays. It’s so beautiful in person and it’s great for photo opps!

- West Village: This is my favorite neighborhood in NYC. The quaint cobblestone streets, the shops, and all of the amazing restaurants and bars make this neighborhood one of the coolest places to visit in Manhattan.

- Times Square: If you've never been to New York, you have to see Times Square at least once while you’re there!

Activities:

- Rockettes Christmas Spectacular: This was one of my favorite parts of the trip! This was my third time seeing this show and I swear it gets better and better every year. It’s perfect for kids and adults of all ages. And here’s a little tip for saving some money on tickets: sign up your email for Broadway Box Alerts. I got an email about three weeks prior to our trip with a 50% off promo code that got our Orchestra tickets down to a mere $45 a piece!

- Walking the High Line: This is a great pastime if you’re near the Chelsea neighborhood. It’s great for sightseeing and even better for taking beautiful pictures of the city!

Here are some photos from our trip! 😊
