Hi.

I'm Paige! Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, along with simple tips to make the most of your own travels. Enjoy!

Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas, Nevada

I’m back once again from one of my favorite cities! What a great trip it was. I left for this trip on the evening of my last day of the school year, and there really could not have been a better way to celebrate. I honestly did lots of the same things I usually do and see in Vegas, so a few of these may be repeats from previous posts, but I hope you all still enjoy! 😊

Accommodations:

 - Mandalay Bay: We loves it here! It was my first time staying at Mandalay Bay and I thought it was a great hotel. The rooms were spacious and offered great views and the pool was AMAZING. If you’re looking for a hotel with a great pool, Mandalay Bay is without a doubt where you need to stay!

(TRAVEL TIP)  I travel to Vegas quite frequently which means I do a lot of research to find the best prices on hotels. I found a website called SmarterVegas.com that I am obsessed with! It goes through and searches for promo codes and hotel deals and then once you find one you’re interested in, it connects you right back to that hotel’s website with the promo code already applied at checkout. We were able to get our room for $60 per night with a $75 Beach Credit for our stay!

Food/Drinks:

- Milk Bar: We only split the birthday cake truffles here but they were to die for! If you love sweets, definitely make a stop at Milk Bar during your stay!

- Zuma / Bouchon: I know I’ve mentioned both of these places multiple times on my previous Las Vegas posts, but they’re just too good not to write about! Dinner at Zuma and breakfast at Bouchon are MUSTS during your time in Vegas!

(TRAVEL TIP) Las Vegas is notorious for overcharging for things. Take it from me - I bought two breakfast sandwiches and a small coffee at Starbucks and ended up paying $24 when it normally would have been half the price in Denver. 🙈 Always check the price before you buy things in Vegas!

Things to do/see:

- Hyde: This was my first time experiencing Hyde and I absolutely LOVED it! It definitely has the prettiest view out of any of the nightclubs in Las Vegas and the music and atmosphere were both great!

- Pool: As I mentioned earlier, the pool at Mandalay Bay was spectacular. If you’re visiting Vegas during pool season, it’s a great way to relax and spend the day!

(TRAVEL TIP) Because we were traveling during the week rather than the weekend, we were able to get a $1500 pool cabana for $200! Don’t book a cabana online, but instead go talk to a host and they will likely give you a way better deal! 😊

Here are some photos from our trip!

The best happy hour spot on the strip! If you like sushi, you will LOVE this place! (These were two of the delicious happy hour drinks we tried! 😋)
