Los Angeles, California
Hey y’all! I just got back from LA and am already missing the ocean, the shopping and all of the amazing food. LA is one of the best places in my opinion for a girl’s weekend - that’s why this was the third one that my best friend and I have done in the last 3 years. It’s quick, easy, and relatively inexpensive if you do it the right way! Here’s a list of the things we did, ate, and where we stayed while we were there!
Accommodations:
- We booked a cute little Airbnb right in the heart of Beverly Hills for two nights and all together, we only ended up paying about $200 for our whole stay! It was a cute private suite within walking distance to Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Center and The Grove, with lots of cute shops and restaurants everywhere in between!
Food/Drinks:
- Eggslut: Eggslut is kind of like the In-N-Out of breakfast sandwich places. They only have a few options on their menu, but each of them are perfectly made and SO delicious.
- Sprinkles: Because no LA trip is complete without a visit to a Sprinkles Cupcake ATM. 😍 My favorite flavor is the vanilla with milk chocolate frosting!
- Catch: This was the best meal on our LA trip hands down! It was definitely pricey, but the beautiful atmosphere and delicious food/cocktails made it worth every penny!
- The Abbey: This may have been my favorite part of our trip! It’s been voted the best gay bar in the world and even has a reality tv show about it! Be sure to grab a drink here if you’re in West Hollywood. 🙌🏼
Things to do/see:
- Rodeo Drive: This is one of the nicest (and most expensive) areas in Los Angeles. If you have the money to spend, great! If not, it’s still fun to check it out and snap some photos! 😊
- Melrose / Fairfax: These popular avenues are both great for shopping, dining and people watching! We’ve spotted a few celebrities here before too! 😉
- The Grove: This is my favorite place for shopping in LA. The Grove has many great stores, but also has many amazing dining options and a huge farmers market! It’s also great for people watching and lounging on a nice summer day. 😊
- Santa Monica Pier: This will always be my favorite part of Southern California. Santa Monica is such a beautiful town, and the pier is the best part of it! Go walk along the pier, grab an ice cream and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean!
Here are some of my photos from our trip!
